I remember, two years ago, I was in the gym on the cross trainer and something on the screen stopped me in my tracks and had me scrambling for my phone to make notes.
Now, I’m always on the lookout for new, exciting promotional products. I guess, from experience, I’ve developed a kind of sixth sense and this little baby I was looking at had the hairs on the back of my neck standing bolt upright.
It was an advert for a product that claims to give you “silky smooth skin with no pain by using the latest thermicon technology.” The way they were selling it made it all the more hilarious.
For example, “Girls where do you use the nono and how has it been a game changer for you?”
It’s basically a hand held contraption that has a heated wire which when in contact with your skin burns your hair and messes up your follicles (in a good way of course).
What finished me off were the words: “Girls, it’s not just us that have unwanted hair and shoes, our men do too.”

It has some great reviews too:
“No No really sucks! I used mine for a year and all it did was fry my skin.”
“When you use it, you can see little puffs of smoke and the smell of burnt hair.”
So be careful when you’re looking for new, exciting promotional products to get you noticed and to grow your business and as another reviewer said: “It is a definite no no for me. It goes back to the old saying, if it seems too good to be true, it likely is!”
